E-Learning Training

Course 1: E-Learning Orientation
This is an introductory training course which explores your new VLE from the point of view of the learner. The training covers:
- Course structures
- Forums
- Chat rooms
- Quizzes
- Assignments
- Calendar events
- Blocks displaying upcoming events, recent activities, RSS newsfeeds
- Links to HTML resources
Course 2: E-Learning Course Management
The objetive of this training is to equip teachers with all the skills they need to create and manage an E-Learning Course. The course covers:
- Quizzes (including how to create the different types of questions)
- Assignments
- Gradebooks
- Resource presentation
- Discussion forums (including a moderator role)
- Wikis (collaboration between groups)
- RSS newsfeeds (from external organizations)
- Calendar events
- Customized block displaying your own web design elements
- Customize site and course appearance using themes
- Choice, surveys, questionnaires
- Embedded Video
Participating in this course will give everyone a functional course they can use straight away
Course 3: E-Learning Design
This course provides extensive learning on key administration functions:
- Managing site layout
- Customising the application to your environment
- Making changes to themes
- Adding and removing modules, blocks and filters
- Managing the calendar
- The options available in the HTML editor
- Managing user accounts
- Authentication of users, including manual and email authentication
- Enrolment management
- Managing roles and system access
- Backup at the site and course level
